I have spent my whole life in Cape Town. After graduating from high school, I began studying to become a foundation phase teacher through the University of South Africa. I arrived at Capella house at the end of 2016 and have never looked back.
I have been drawn to teaching since I was young. My mother has been a teacher for over thirty years, so I have always been exposed to teaching. I thoroughly enjoyed supporting her around the classroom.
My time in the classroom has been filled with unlimited stories, laughter, growth, tears, and happiness. It is always so rewarding to be able to physically see a child’s growth whether it is intellectually, socially, or emotionally.
I am in love with the fact that when you teach every day is completely different from the last. You never know what is coming your way.
Every morning I get to wake up and do what I love.
When I am not in the classroom, I spend my time drawing and going on walks with my husband and our two little dogs.[acf_frontend form="form_61fbf1cd86aa9"]
